A few days ago I read a blog by a fellow photographer, it made me smile and nearly made me form a small tear.
As a wedding photographer, we have seen, and been to a lot of weddings. So many, in fact, I often joke that I should almost become a wedding planner. I always tell the bride and groom not to worry about the little things, because at the end of the day you will still be married. I know that it is still easy to get wrap up in planning the perfect wedding.
But what my fellow photographer wrote, how she put into words I only wish I could have.
Made me think of the few past weddings I have done. Pictures that I will remember for a life time.
Don't just take my word for it, read it for yourself.
"But my job -- MY job -- is to see past all that. My job is to give you photos that will remind you why you had that damn expensive party in the first place."
